Raymetrics signs up to sprint programme to develop air pollution Lidar application

Raymetrics, one of the world’s largest atmospheric LIDAR (LIght Detection And Ranging) manufacturers, has signed up to the UK-wide SPRINT programme to access space expertise and facilities from the University of Leicester for the development of new laser-based detection solutions for atmospheric monitoring. February 1st saw the official launch of a partnership between Raymetrics Ltd. of Surrey and the university.

The SPRINT (SPace Research and Innovation Network for Technology) programme provides unprecedented access to university space expertise and facilities to help businesses develop new commercial products for space and other key sectors.
