Mr Christos Evangelatos

Head of Optoelectronics Dpt

Mr. Evangelatos is responsible for design and implementation of optical, optoelectronics and optomechanical components of the LIDAR systems, the most delicate parts of them. He organizes and plans the manufacturing process and also involved in the assembly of the instruments and the final calibration and optimization of them.

Christos Evangelatos holds a Bachelor degree in Applied Mathematical and Physical Sciences from National Technical University of Athens (N.T.U.A.), an MSc in Applied Physics with specialization in Optoelectronics and Nuclear Physics from N.T.U.A. and currently is a PhD candidate at Laser Remote Sensing Unit of Physics Department of N.T.U.A. He has participated in 3 European competitive research projects in laser development and its applications and up to now, he is co-author in 2 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals and more than 8 oral presentations and International Conference Proceedings papers. He joined Raymetrics in 2014.
