Dr. George Avdikos

Dr. Avdikos is responsible for the R&D of LiDAR sub-systems.

Dr. Avdikos is responsible for the R&D of LiDAR sub-systems. He writes proposals for research projects and then carries out the development required in collaboration with research partners. Through such projects, Raymetrics is able to effectively subsidize product development, keep abreast of scientific advancements and also nurture contacts in prestigious institutions. He has more than 20 years experience in Lidar technology.

 

Dr Avdikos studied Physics (BSc) and made Postgraduate studies in Applied Physics (Msc1), in Mathematics (MSc2), in Electronics (MSc3). He also holds a Phd degree in Computational Electromagnetics. He has extensive experience on research projects (national and European) regarding radar engineering, photonics and applied optics. He joined Raymetrics in 2007.
